We are hiring a Mandarin Preschool Teacher for our Intermediate Class , specifically designed for confident and experienced educators who are passionate about Mandarin whole-brain learning . This role focuses on delivering Mandarin lessons to children aged 1.5 to 6 years in a small-group setting with parent involvement .
Our classes aim to nurture well-balanced left-brain and right-brain development . Our approach is grounded in Confucian values while cultivating bold minds and strong character . The programme blends academic preparation with values-based education , structured around routine , creativity , and reflective thinking . Every child is supported to develop cognitive strength , moral foundation , confidence , and social-emotional resilience .
You’ll be part of a values-driven, growth-oriented teaching environment where teachers are supported to take ownership of classroom content and build strong Mandarin rapport with preschoolers. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Mandarin lessons to preschool-aged children (1.5 to 6 years)
- Manage a small group (up to 12 children) in a nurturing, engaging classroom
- Update teaching materials monthly based on student progress
- Track and document each child’s development across academic and whole-brain domains
- Build and maintain strong parent-teacher partnerships
- Mentor junior teachers and support curriculum execution
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance lesson quality and classroom effectiveness
Who We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
- Fluent in Mandarin , with confident communication in front of parents
- ECDA-recognised early childhood diploma (e.g. DECCE-T Chinese)
- Minimum 3 years’ preschool classroom experience
- Strong group teaching skills and classroom presence
- Comfortable managing parent-accompanied classes
- Able to work onsite at our East Coast location, including weekends

- Previous classroom leadership or mentoring experience

Work Schedule
- Full-time , 5-day work week
Option 1: 3 weekdays + 2 weekends
Option 2: 4 weekdays + 1 weekend - Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM , with 1-hour lunch break
- Location: East Coast (ground-floor unit, small steps internally)
Salary
- Probation (1 month): $3,500/month
- Post-probation transitional phase (Assistant Teacher – up to 3 months): $3,800–$4,000/month
- Tier 1 onwards (based on weekly student hours): $4,250–$6,800/month
This is a tier-based salary system tied to student contact hours per week — the more children you teach, the higher your earning tier. Career growth is structured and supported.
