Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain, diagnose, and repair boats and marine engines.
- Conduct sea trials and diagnostic tests to ensure proper functioning.
- Provide service, commissioning and technical support for company and OEM navigational and communication equipment locally and overseas.
- Provide advisory and coordinate work carried out by shipyards or contractors.
- Maintain service logs and complete job documentation accurately.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Taking ownership and responsibility on assigned projects or service jobs, ensuring their adherence toward company standards.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum ITE certificate/ Diploma / Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic/Marine Engineering.
- Experience in working with Marine Navigation and Communication Equipment will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with knowledge and experience in the Radar and Ecdis system are preferred.
- Possess good command of the English language.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision, work after office hours and travel overseas when the need arises.
- Capable of working effectively in challenging maritime conditions.
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
