- Generate M&E co-ordination shop drawings.
- Evaluate and resolve M&E problems with consultants and sub-contractors.
- Attend principal meetings with client and consultants.
- Prepare M&E progress report or any other reports required by the client or consultants.
- Collect operational manuals from suppliers / sub-contractors on completion of project for submission.
- Check and ensure compliance with the requirements of ISO 45001/ ISO 9001.
- Collaborate with site engineer to resolve problem and co-chair meeting monthly.
- Propose risk assessments based on tender drawings and documents.
- Develop cost-effective solutions for M&E.
- Review M&E work schedules and lead times to create suitable project schedules using Microsoft Project (or equivalent) for projects.
- Proposing appropriate architectural and C&S solutions, including necessary plinths, access panels, structural openings, dog houses, make-good areas, and other related elements.
- Attend site surveys and ensure proper methods of statement and material shifting are in place.
- Review all VOs on-site and evaluate costs based on POs and tender clarifications.
- Collaborate with the Planning and QS Departments on related matters.
- Present M&E-related items to the client during meetings.
- Full M&E functions as designated and not limited to other general assigned duties.
- Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) aspects of construction projects, ensuring seamless integration with other disciplines.
- Design Review: Review and verify M&E designs for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with project specifications.
- Site Supervision: Monitor on-site M&E installations, ensuring adherence to design, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Subcontractor Management: Liaise with and oversee M&E subcontractors to ensure timely and quality completion of work.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all M&E work complies with local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of M&E activities, including progress reports, testing, and commissioning documents.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all M&E-related matters, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- To work and co-ordinate with design/construction teams for all M&E installation and system requirement matters
- To attend M&E Co-ordination Meetings and any other Meetings as required.
- To co-ordinate with draughting team for drawings and submissions.
- Review project specifications, technical clarifications and construction drawings.
- Manage in-house M&E sub-contractors’ work to ensure shop drawing and services are well co-ordinated to suit sequence and installation.
- Supervise and lead an installation team on M&E services installation in construction environment.
- To support the project team for M&E engineering works.
- Oversee and ensure works are carried out in accordance with the approved drawings, materials and method statements.
- Conduct inspections including T&C and handing over for all M&E systems.
- Ensure all M&E and related works carried out by direct workers and sub-contractors are planned and executed to the requirements of the project.
- Liaise with consultants, clients and subcontractors on M&E works progress, coordination and decisions. To involve, support and assist other aspects of operational needs when assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma/ Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 Years and above working experience in ACMV/ M&E engineering is required for this position. Good interpersonal skills, self-driven, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

- 5.5 Days work week
