Job Purpose:
To perform installation and repair of mechanical equipment, and machinery at the site, ensuring safe and efficient operations in line with company standards and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out installation and assembly of mechanical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and standards during installation and assembly work.
- Maintain accurate service records and work reports.
- Support Engineers and Managers on site during equipment buy-off.
- Ensure all work is performed safely, following HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations of both company and client’s policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams be in company or client for smooth job execution.
- Able to work overtime when required i.e. weekdays and weekends.
- Able to hand’s on for sheet metal parts rework as below :
1. Able to touch up on paint work.
2. Able to perform sheet metal part alignment during assembly.
3. Able to read simple drawing to rework on parts
Qualifications & Experience:
- ITE / ‘O’ or ‘N’ Level or related trade qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Technician in manufacturing, or related industries. Sheet metal environment preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, like hand drill, tap wrench, rivet gun etc…
