JOB DESCRIPTION
A Mortgage Retention Specialist must be proactive and customer-focused. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging existing mortgage customers to retain their Mortgage by provide repricing options, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the mortgage lifecycle. Cross-selling will also be a part of a key-focus.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Proactively contact existing mortgage customers approaching lock-in expiry or repricing eligibility
• Offer tailored solutions, including repricing or restructuring options
• Handle customer queries related to mortgage rates, terms, and account servicing
• Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Credit, Product, Sales) to support customer needs
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, interest rates, and market trends
• Actively cross-sell relevant bank products and services to existing mortgage customers to increase overall product holding and deepen customer relationships
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• A recognised University Degree/Diploma
• Prior experience in property and/or consumer mortgage sectors is highly preferred
• Able to work with high volume under tight time-lines
• Results-oriented, dynamic and self-driven
• Competent in managing internal stakeholders and Customers
• Candidates may be required to work overtime or on weekends
