Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing small projects or specific modules within larger projects.
- Work with a 3–4 member technical team to implement solutions using Newgen products like NewgenONE, iBPS, Omnidocs, and Record Management System.
- Participate in peer code reviews, POCs, and application integrations.
- Contribute to the technical delivery of software solutions with guidance from senior team members.
- Attend internal meetings and provide regular project updates to senior leads and stakeholders.
- Follow company processes and ensure adherence to technical and quality standards.
- Work on both fixed-price and time & material projects across various business domains.
- Collaborate with clients to understand technical requirements and support issue resolution.
- Prepare and review technical documents like design specs, system architecture, and test cases.
- Share weekly status updates and contribute to project reporting.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in software development using Java technologies.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with Newgen platforms (e.g., NewgenONE, iBPS, Omnidocs, RMS).
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, SQL/Oracle, JavaScript, JQuery, and related technologies.
- Familiar with tools like Eclipse, GitHub, Soap UI, Postman, Jira, SVN.
- Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, web application security, and application performance basics.
- Exposure to third-party integrations such as Corpass, SingPass, or Core Banking systems is a plus.
- Experience working with application servers like Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss is desirable.
- Awareness of DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Sonar, CI/CD pipelines is a bonus.
- Comfortable participating in different software lifecycle phases – design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
