Reporting to the Senior Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Define treatment objectives for each client and implementing treatment programmes. The definition of “clients” in this context, applies to the residents of the Home, Respite cases and Day Care Clients.
- Attend and partake in discussion of Individual Care Plan (ICP) of clients, case conferences and meetings.
- Compile and submit periodic reports and statistics to the Director (Client Services).
- Documenting clients’ progress, reassessing and refining where applicable.
- Assist to oversee the work performance and skill development of the Therapy Aides.
- Improve and/or develop the Occupational Therapy activities from time to time.
- Work with the multi-disciplinary team in the assessment of potential clients.
- Maintain proper records of inventory and coordinate purchase/maintenance/repair of equipment, assistive devices, wheelchairs etc.
- Collaborate with Volunteer Programme Management team on volunteers’ orientation, coordination and training for the Occupational Therapy areas as well as various social activities and on-going programmes for the clients at the Home.
- Collaborate with Social Services team on various programmes such as craft-making, outings and social recreational activities for the Day Care clients. Perform any other reasonable duties required by the management.
Job specification:
- Possess a recognized Degree in Occupational Therapy Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council
