About the Role:
We’re looking for a dedicated Part-Time Cook to support our kitchen team during busy service periods. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow their culinary skills in both American BBQ and steakhouse cuisine, while working flexible shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and cooking of smoked meats, classic BBQ sides, and premium steaks under the guidance of our senior kitchen team.
- Follow recipes and portion standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Support daily mise en place, including ingredient prep, marination, and station setup.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work environment.
- Comply with all food safety and hygiene standards.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and smooth service.
Requirements:
- Prior kitchen experience (grill, prep, or hot line) is a plus, but not essential.
- Eagerness to learn and improve in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Able to work evenings, weekends, or public holidays when needed.
- Good team spirit and strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
