A. Account Administration
1. Assist with accounting and finance function
2. Assist in the submission of grant applications, proposals and claims report
3. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, bank reconciliation, assets register, processing payments for month end closing
4. Issuance of tax-deductible receipts and maintaining records
5. Assist with the budgeting process
6. Ensure that accurate financial reports are produced and submitted to the relevant authorities in accordance to the specific deadlines.
7. Ensure that the monthly and quarterly income and expenditure statements and balance sheets are accurate and up to date.
B. Administration
1. Ensure that all procurement procedures are transparent and in accordance to the Standard Operating Procedures, before submission to Approving Authority
2. Provides administrative support for meetings and fundraising events
3. Maintain organized records of financial and admin documents
4. Any other matters as assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (Fresh graduates with a relevant diploma or degree are welcome to apply!)
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero)
- Good knowledge of Ms Office applications, Google Suite
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Responsible, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Able to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and time management skills
Working Conditions
- Regular working hours: 9am – 6pm
- 3 days per week
