Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare the estimation of quantities required and costing from construction drawings
- Seeing through the project from tender to award to final accounts.
- Prepare quotations, Tender replies, and reports
- Take off & prepare BOQ
- Cost analysis and monitoring.
- Attend meetings with developers, contractors, sub contractors and suppliers
- Prepare variation orders and assist to handle variation orders
- Assist to prepare monthly progress claim to clients
- Liaise with main contractor, developers, project team, and suppliers & sub contractors
- Read, understand and intepret contractual terms & tender / construction drawings
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings
- Able to analyse and compare quotations
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as QS in Mechanical Works, preferably specialized in Plumbing & Sanitary Works
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Able to work with and meet tight deadlines.
- Organized with an eye for detail.
