Local Unit & Position Description
Area SEA department is part of DNV's Energy Systems APAC Region operations and holds an important and strategic position for us in the marketplace, both locally and globally. We hold a diverse portfolio of customers in Singapore and other countries in the Region, delivering services on Market & Risk (M&R) within the onshore and offshore oil, gas process, renewables, wind industries.
The Principal Consultant -Markets & Risk SEA position will hold as main responsibilities, which are not limited to:
- Onshore/Offshore safety & risk engineering, specifically with strong knowledge of QRA methodologies and tools, Safety case and QRA (onshore/offshore).
- Workshop Facilitation (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, FMECA, etc.).
- Serve as the primary contact for clients in Singapore and the region.
- Collaborate with the DNV team to support sales activities and develop client-focused proposals.
- Mentor and develop junior consultants, contributing to the technical upskilling of the Singapore team.
- Provide technical guidance (QA/QC) and manage relevant projects.
- Network within the industry and DNV organization to secure new opportunities.
- Networking within the DNV organization to utilize the global skill’s pool for the growth of the Region.
- Leadership experience is preferred.
- Working with the local DNV software team to maximise the development of client opportunities with regard RMA advisory services and suite of software; and
- Secure projects to boost DNV’s expertise and recognition in the industry.

Position Qualifications
- At least 14 years’ experience in risk management advisory with a strong consultant mindset
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Proven project management skills.
- Technical expertise on safety methodologies (QRA, FSA), asset risk management, RAM insight, Enterprise Risk Management, CFD (FLACS, KFX, etc.).
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Solid experience in the Safety & Risk area in both Maritime & Oil/Gas Industries.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Commitment to successful project outcomes.
