Job Description & Requirements:
- Manage full procurement cycle and handle all material purchases for the company.
- Find, evaluate, and build strong relationships with reliable suppliers, while continuously exploring new potential suppliers.
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to get the best value.
- Conduct price comparisons regularly and keep up with new products, materials, and industry trends.
- Maintain and update supplier lists, material price lists, and all procurement records.
- Monitor supplier performance and solve any delivery or quality issues.
- Ensure all procurement documentation, including Purchase Orders and RFQs, are accurate and submitted on time.
- Work closely with site teams and project managers to ensure material requests align with project requirements and optimise ordering.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and relevant regulations
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 2–3 years of purchasing experience in construction, plumbing, sanitary, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis for procurement tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with sourcing suppliers online and conducting market research independently.
