Job Title:
Programs & Projects/Community Executive
Building the Movement at Ninja Lab
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Ninja Lab is where fitness meets imagination — and every class or event is an adventure. As we scale up our impact, we’re looking for a Programs & Community Lead who can help us bring structure, story, and soul into every ninja journey — from weekly kids classes to full-scale seasonal events like the Ninja League.
You’ll be the heartbeat of our ninja universe — making sure every young mover feels seen, every clan mission is immersive, and every family leaves feeling stronger together.
You’ll work closely with our coaching team, co-founders, and creative partners to turn each obstacle into a story, each class into a memory, and each event into a movement.
(either Projects or Community, depending on experience & strength, but as a startup, we all work together at the same level!)
YOUR MISSION
Support and scale the systems that power:
- Weekly kids ninja programs (Curious Ones, Hyper Ones, Rising Ones)
- Seasonal flagship events like Defy Gravity: Ninja Edition
- Our growing community of parents, youth, and movement lovers
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Operations & Execution
- Upload and distribute weekly ninja class briefs to coaches (Chunin, Jonin formats)
- Track student progression and capture feedback from both kids & parents
- Coordinate kids holiday programs, parties & showcases
Event Production (Seasonal)
- Assist in planning and executing public-facing events like the Ninja League
- Liaise with freelance crew, safety marshals, and event producers
- Manage registration, parent comms, clan sorting, and obstacle flow
- Contribute to clan storyline activations and interactive zones
- Support photo/video crew during key moments
Community Engagement
- Respond to parent queries with empathy and insight
- Share class highlights and community stories across our platforms
- Help organize family days, mini open plays, and post-event follow-ups
- Be the friendly face that connects kids, parents, and coaches together
(our founder loves to talk to parents so don’t worry if you dont like to! You’re well supported)
WHO YOU ARE
- You love working with children, families, and creative people
- You’re excited by spontaneity within structure
- You love trying new things, dipping your toes in new exciting projects
- You’re looking for a role where your work feels like a mission, with autonomy and meaning, not just a job
GROWTH PATHWAY
This role can grow into:
- Head of Kids Program Development
- Community & Events Director
- Captain of your own regional tribe (as we expand!)
