Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and define the overall methodology for steel structure construction , emphasizing:
o Division and sectioning of the 3D model for optimal construction planning.
o Build sequence to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
o Efficient and logical assembly methods for structural components.
o Use and integration of temporary structures to support construction activities.
· Establish, update, and maintain construction methods and sequences throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the planning team to integrate construction methods into project schedules ; ensure alignment with actual site execution.
· Coordinate with Design Engineering teams to provide input on constructability during design reviews, ensuring designs are executable and practical on-site.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes , including Eurocode 3 and 4.
- Maintain a focus on safety, quality, and cost-efficiency in all construction method proposals.
- Support cross-disciplinary coordination to enhance project delivery and resolve construction-related issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams, ensuring methods are understood and implemented correctly on-site.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
· Relevant experience in steel structure construction, particularly within a methods engineering or construction engineering function.
- Proven proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks , and other relevant design and structural analysis software .
- Strong knowledge of construction principles, materials , and safety regulations .
- Familiarity with Eurocode 3 and 4 and other applicable structural design standards.
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
