Job Description
We are looking for a Business Project Manager to lead and manage projects within the education sector. The role involves overseeing academic programs, student services, and business initiatives to ensure smooth operations and growth. The successful candidate will coordinate between management, lecturers, students, and external partners, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the organization’s goals.
This role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and able to communicate fluently in English and Malay to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Implementation
Plan, organize, and manage education-related projects (e.g., course launches, accreditations, student services improvements).
Develop project schedules, set milestones, and monitor progress.
Ensure compliance with education regulations and standards. - Team & Stakeholder Coordination
Work closely with lecturers, administrators, and management to ensure smooth project delivery.
Liaise with external education partners, regulators, and service providers.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management. - Operational Management
Monitor and improve operational processes in the education environment.
Support program development, quality assurance, and student engagement initiatives.
Ensure resources (staff, facilities, and technology) are allocated efficiently. - Risk & Quality Control
Identify risks and challenges in project delivery and provide solutions.
Maintain high standards of quality and compliance across all projects.
Ensure student and stakeholder satisfaction.
Requirements
- Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Professional certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are an advantage. - Experience :
Minimum 3–5 years of project management or coordination experience.
Experience in the education sector (schools, training centers, higher education, or corporate training) preferred.
Familiarity with education regulations, accreditations, and student services will be an added advantage. - Language Skills :
Must be fluent in English and Malay (spoken and written).
Ability to communicate effectively with both local and international stakeholders. - Skills & Competencies :
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.
