Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, control, execute and close projects within contractual schedule and budgeted cost.
- To supervise a crew of carpenters in achieving production targets to meet project deadline.
- Perform quality check and ensure furniture are fabricated accordingly to construction drawing.
- Review drawings, design notes, and critical specifications.
- Attend site meetings, inspections, monitor and report of project progress.
- Liaise and coordinate with related parties (e.g., authorities, clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers etc.) through regular meetings to ensure conformity to specifications, quality and delivery schedule.
- Supervision at project site to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure that staff and contractors carry out work in a safe manner.
- Monitor daily progress at project site.
- Report to management team on project status.
- Ensure up to date claims, obtaining approval for variations order and prepare for billing.
- Ad-hoc duties.
Requirements:
- Interior Design / Carpentry / Joinery knowledge preferred
- At least 3 to 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Good team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to start work within short notice
