The Biophysics lab in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) has an open Project Officer (PO) research position. We are seeking self-motivated and passionate scientists with a strong background in Chemistry or Biology to work on nucleic acid structure and therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform chemical syntheses
- Engage and collaborate with multi-disciplinary team and external collaborators for drug discovery and development
- Maintenance of equipment and consumables to ensure regular experimentation
- Provide support in grant administration/management and procurement matters
Job Requirements:
- At least BSc degree in Chemistry, Biology or related disciplines
- Research experience in the related areas
- Able to multi-task and work independently
- Candidate should possess an attention to detail and be meticulous
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to complete experiments on schedule
