Key Responsibilities
Manage sheet metal fabrication
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review drawings and ensure manufacturability.
Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress against key milestones.
Optimize cost, material usage, and production efficiency without compromising quality or deadlines.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate outsourced processes (e.g., surface treatments, laser cutting).
Operate welding machines and perform welding tasks according to engineering drawings and job requirements.
Weld using aluminium, stainless steel, or electro-galvanised (EG) sheet metal.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area in accordance with 5S standards.
Communicate regularly with clients regarding project updates, changes, and technical requirements.
Ensure daily maintenance and proper use of tools and equipment.
Support other duties or projects assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or mechanical project management.
Strong knowledge of metalworking processes such as laser cutting, bending, welding, and surface finishing.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD files.
Possess a valid Singapore Driving License and forklift license will be an added advantage
Excellent communication, negotiation, and team coordination skills.
Bilingual in Mandarin and English is preferred (for client and supplier communication)
