- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC policies, procedures, and standards for offshore power plant fabrication.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements (e.g., IEC, DNV).
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure fabricated components meet quality and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain inspection and test plans (ITP), including witness points and hold points.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality issues, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Manage and coordinate QA/QC activities, including inspection, testing, and certification.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics, including defect rates, inspection results, and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and mitigate quality risks, including potential defects, delays, or cost overruns.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with project stakeholders, including customers, contractors, and suppliers. Manage and develop the QA/QC team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluation.
Education
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.Specialized knowledge /experience
- 5-7 years of experience in QA/QC, preferably in offshore power plant fabrication or shipbuilding industry.
- Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g., IEC, DNV).
- Strong understanding of quality management principles, including ISO 9001.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
