RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role of the above is to ensure that company products and services meet established standards of quality, reliability and performance.
- Assist the QA Manager in ensuring the Quality Assurance department operates efficiently and effectively by supporting daily operations, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper documentation of raw materials, ingredients, and finished products. Review supplier raw material records and test results.
- Prepare product samples for external laboratory testing; review and evaluate test reports.
- Manage regulatory affairs for both local and international markets, including research, regulatory inquiries, labelling compliance, and updates on country requirements.
- Support in internal training programs by developing training materials and providing training support.
- Support the implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of the Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
- Collect and compile data required for validation activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Record results from internal and external audits; assist in organizing data for quality metrics and process improvement reports.
- Ensure traceability and product recall systems are tested and maintained.
- Support traceability and root cause investigations related to quality issues, hygiene lapses, and non-compliance incidents.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisors.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or related field.
- Good knowledge of Quality Management System (HACCP, BRCGS, FSSC Version 6, ISO 22000)
- Good communication, Organizational and Analytical Skills
- Able to work in a team and independently
