As an established digital leader, you will have the skills to influence at every level, imparting your digital knowledge and skills in a constructive, empowering, and collaborative way. You will be responsible for leading and developing the Digital & Technology strategy for the APAC region. As a member of the Leadership Team, you will be working closely with stakeholders within the business unit, functional Senior Leaders and our franchise community. Your goal will be to drive drive digital performance by ensuring the overall tech stack works seamlessly for the benefit of the customer and the teams in store, ensuring franchisee compliance with brand standards (including driving adoption of the Byte product suite) and shaping actions for improved performance as part of Joint Business Plans with franchisees.
What you’ll do:
Capability Building, Leadership & Direction
- Provide direction, leadership, and coaching to both permanent and contractor expertise within the Digital & Technology team, focusing on functional goals delivery as well as people capability building
- Hold self and team to high standards at all times, and be proactive in identifying, assessing and mitigating strategic risks when teams are balancing time and quality.
- Build awareness across the business and franchise community on technology projects, and technology enablement of other projects initiatives, which includes but is not limited to awareness on the Byte technology suite, projects and integration with the business’ objectives.
- Ensuring Franchise partners and key vendors have the resources and know-how to successfully execute and deliver digital performance within their teams. Develop joint plans of actions as part of the Joint Business Plan in partnership with the BMU leader.
Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Sets out the regional strategy for technology, balancing business drivers, supplier roadmaps, project dependencies and technical constraints as appropriate.
- Be accountable for regional input into technology brands standards, Byte product roadmaps and brand technology strategies and projects.
- Accountable for the establishment and management of the relevant budgets across the Technology teams.
- Accountable for driving digital and technology brand standard adoption with franchisees and in partnership with the BMU leader.
- Determines the structures and resourcing across Technology in partnership with HR & Finance.
- Coordinates the subject matter expertise to direct or support analysis of data to diagnose issues or determine enhancements.
- Assure regional suppliers and where required be prepared to intercede with support from the supporting functions as required.
Ad Hoc Support Items
- When required be a senior escalation point for Technology issues with franchisees, Yum D&T and Yum approved technology suppliers.
- Some working outside of traditional, core hours may be required, working with the wider teams across Yum, help manage the suppliers and third parties to ensure the systems released across Global Pizza Hut best support the business.
Experience we’re looking for:
- Extensive experience in digital and technology leadership, ideally in a number of senior roles within E-Commerce, Digital Marketing or other Fast-paced Tech and Digital Organizations.
- Knowledge and experience covering digital and operational tools and platforms, including but not limited to CRM, Loyalty, CDP, and POS.
- A pragmatic planner, able to broker effective agreements between diverse parties.
- Initiative and drive for self-development beyond company assisted training and mentoring; active in the training and mentoring of others.
- Relationship-building skills – and ability to gain influence with key stakeholders (such as franchisees) in order to drive data-driven decisions.
