This is a high-impact, growth-focused sales leadership opportunity with a global employer of choice in the financial technology space. As the Regional Sales Executive – Core Banking Solutions, you will lead new business development and expand strategic relationships across ASEAN, with a focus on Singapore, Hong Kong and Vietnam.

You will manage a portfolio of integrated, mission-critical Core Banking platforms and solutions for both on-premise and cloud deployment. You’ll represent a powerful offering in the financial services software space, with unmatched sales potential in core banking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding existing client portfolios in the Core Banking domain.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle for Core Banking products, including prospecting, preparing and presenting proposals, and closing deals.
  • Deliver accurate short-, medium-, and long-term forecasts.
  • Identify and capitalize on market opportunities to meet and exceed annual sales targets.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with banking clients, from Tier 1 to Tier 2 institutions.
  • Collaborate with third-party partners and consultancy sales teams to maximize opportunities through strategic alliances.
  • Provide market intelligence by sharing insights on core banking modernization trends, digital transformation, and key industry contacts.
  • Partner with pre-sales and solution consulting teams to ensure customers receive the right technical and functional support.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 10–15+ years of software sales experience in the financial services industry, with 10+ years specifically in Core Banking platforms.
  • Proven track record of selling into Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks and financial institutions.
  • Hunter and farmer mentality, with strong ability to open new doors and grow existing accounts.
  • Deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly particularly Core Banking and digital banking.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with extended cross-functional teams such as Pre-Sales, Professional Services, and Delivery.
  • Established C-Level relationships across the top tiers of the Financial Services sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and influencing abilities.
  • Confident in building and maintaining relationships at all levels, including C-suite executives.
  • University degree required.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Candidates with experience in selling solutions or services from vendors such as Temenos, Mambu, Backbase, nCino, SBS, FIS, Finastra, SAP, Oracle, Nucleus Software, ERI Bancaire, Avaloq, TCS BaNCS, and similar, are especially encouraged to apply.
