MAE is seeking to hire a Research Associate to support the development and validation of AI-driven tools for metamaterial design. The role contributes to NTU’s research mission through model testing, data analysis, proposal preparation, and publication support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other researchers (including PhD students and research staff) to conduct research work on AI-assisted design;
- Support the validation of large language models for generative metamaterial design;
- Assist in building and testing AI-assisted design tools under supervision.
- Characterize the mechanical properties of printed products;
- Write research proposals;
- Publish research results in reputable international journals.
Job Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Good publication record;
- Good communication and writing in English for research work;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Excellent teamwork awareness;
- Strong responsibility for research/work.
