The Continental-NTU Corp Lab is a strategic research collaboration between NTU and Continental, focusing on developing technically advanced solutions in the areas such as sustainable materials engineering, artificial intelligence, advanced communications and cybersecurity capabilities for future urban mobility applications. We aim to develop innovative solutions that can be commercialized into products and services for Continental through close collaboration with its business units.
We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to work on developing AI/ML techniques for vehicular communication (terrestrial and NTN). The goal of this research is to design and develop algorithms and techniques that adapt to the environment, minimizing signaling overhead associated with channel estimation and enhancing communication under mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Development: Design, develop, and evaluate AI/ML algorithms for autonomous automotive applications, focusing on online learning techniques with minimal signaling overhead.
- Simulation and Evaluation: Conduct simulations and evaluations to assess the performance of developed algorithms and techniques, using relevant metrics and benchmarks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate developed algorithms and techniques into automotive systems.
- Publication and Presentation: Publish research findings in top-tier journals and conferences, presenting results to stakeholders and industry experts.
Job Requirements:
- Ph.D. in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, with a strong background in AI/ML, wireless communication, or signal processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, MATLAB, or C++, and experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- A proven track record of conducting research in AI/ML, wireless communication, or related areas, with publications in reputable journals or conferences.
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
