We are looking for a Research Fellow who will help us with mid-infrared photonics. The role will focus on Mid-infrared integrated passive photonics devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct theoretical and experimental research on mid-infrared silicon photonics.
- Design and implement mid-infrared active and passive devices such as lasers and detectors and waveguides.
- Develop and validate mid-infrared active and passive devices such as lasers and detectors and waveguides.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to explore practical applications of mid-infrared silicon photonics.
- Prepare high-quality research publications and present findings at conferences and seminars.
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optical Engineering or other related fields
- Relevant experience / technical hands-on experience in mid-infrared photonics
- Good written and oral communication skills
- The ability to conduct independent research is highly desirable.
