The School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering is seeking a Research Fellow passionate about soft robotic technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and manufacture bio-inspired soft gripper system with optimal structure.
Design and develop tactile sensing mechanism on the developed robotic systems.
Create embodied AI technology for the robotic system.
Perform testing and validate the performance of the developed gripper system.
Job Requirements:
PhD Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Information, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field
Good GPA in Bachelor and PhD Degree
At least 4-year research experience in related area
Expertise in robotic gripper design and manufacturing, tactile sensing systems, embodied AI and related fields
Proficiency in English and publication in related areas for research work
