Job description and responsibility:
- The Resident Technical Officer represents clients on the construction site.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings and details of projects.
- Ensure that construction projects follow contracts and regulations.
- Inspect materials and workmanship.
- Perform tests to check the quality of materials.
- Prepare progress reports for their clients.
Requirements:
- Diploma / ITC (Higher NITEC/NTC-2 NITEC) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry(BCSS) Cert is required.
- Preferably registered as a Resident Technical Officer accredited by IES/ACES.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building services in the supervision of commercial/ institutional development with strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical services and local construction practices.
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel for project update and reports.
- Familiar with local codes & regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- 12 Months Contract
