Job Description
1) Monitor and inspect work sites to ensure that safe work practices are carried out in all work operations and compliant with the WSH Act requirements, standards and practices.
2) Ensure continuous improvement by implementing and coordinating safety awareness trainings, programs and initiatives.
3) Perform risk assessment, safety procedures and rectifying any gaps to ensure full compliance with the statutory requirements.
4) Conduct internal audits to identify level of implementation and effectiveness of the EHS management system and provide continuous improvement to the system.
5) Compile and maintain all relevant reports and records.
6) Lead and conduct accident / incident investigations and recommendations on corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
7) Liaise with clients and relevant authority all on EHS matters.
8) Other adhoc duties as per assigned.
Requirements
1) At least 3-5 years' relevant experience in Construction/ Civil Engineering/ Building.
2) Must possess WSQ Specialist Diploma in Safety & Health, or equivalent training.
3) Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
4) Registered Environmental Control Officer with National Environment Agency (NEA).
5) Applicant must be willing to perform overtime if required.
6) Working days: 5.5 days work week
