Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of the Security Support department in SIA’s Safety, Security, and Quality Division.
Responsibilities
1) Regulatory Compliance
1) Regulatory Compliance
- Subject Matter Expert of the Security Management System (SeMS)
- Engage vendors (Cargo, Ground Handling & Security) and guide them on the implementation of SeMS for SIA’s operations.
- Ensure accuracy and communication to all stakeholders on deployment of Air Marshal
2) Security Policies and Governance
- Assist in intelligence monitoring during geopolitical crises
- Assist in management of the restricted or prohibited passengers list
- Promote Security awareness and culture in the company
- Ensure operational continuity of regulatory training
3) Finance and Administration Support
- Ensure proper housekeeping, retrieval and confidentiality of security files
- Process and ensure the completion of station audit files and administrative matters
- Ensure validity of documents and necessary proper destruction of confidential documents
- Provide administrative support for department managers
- Managing the Security email mailboxes
- Prepare and ensure purchase orders and requests are fulfilled
Requirements
- Diploma in any discipline
- Knowledge of airline operations is preferred but not essential
- Security audit experience or familiarity with aviation security requirements weill be advantageous
- Excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy, along with good written & oral communications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, to interpret the impact of the current and changing political situations on the security of civil aviation, particularly for SIA
- Excellent planning and organisation skills
