We are seeking a Sales Manager to spearhead business growth and client acquisition across our group of companies. This role is focused on building long-term relationships with clients, securing new business opportunities, and driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives.
The ideal candidate is commercially savvy, adaptable, and passionate about gaming, esports, lifestyle, fashion, and youth entertainment. They should be someone who actively consumes social media, digital culture, and emerging trends, and knows how to translate them into relevant business opportunities. You will be responsible for the entire sales cycle - from lead generation and proposal development to negotiations and closing deals - while working closely with internal teams to ensure alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Own the full sales cycle: lead generation, prospecting, proposals, negotiations, and closing deals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in gaming, esports, events, and pop culture markets.
- Conduct market analysis to anticipate trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.
- Maintain and report on sales pipelines, providing accurate forecasts and insights to management.
2. Client & Partnership Management
- Build and sustain long-term, trusted relationships with clients, agencies, and brand partners.
- Lead the preparation of sales decks, sponsorship proposals, and partnership pitches.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions that meet client objectives and drive revenue.
- Negotiate and draft contracts, ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Ensure client satisfaction by overseeing partnership delivery and performance.
3. Proposal & Process Excellence
- Drive the proposal process, from pricing and content development to final presentations.
- Optimize sales processes and practices to improve efficiency, profitability, and scalability.
- Guide cross-functional collaboration to align sales objectives with product and creative strategies.
4. Marketing & Industry Engagement
- Represent company at events, exhibitions, and activations to generate leads and strengthen partnerships.
- Work with internal teams to develop and deliver sales-focused materials (e.g., sponsorship decks, case studies, and client presentations)
- Stay informed on esports, gaming, lifestyle, fashion, and youth culture trends to shape relevant sales approaches.
- Actively consume and analyze social media and digital trends, using insights to inform pitches and partnership strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within a marketing agency, events, or entertainment industry.
Proficient in English and Chinese; proficiency in additional languages is a plus. - Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills across multiple channels (phone, email, text, in-person).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse personality types.
- Commercially astute, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Passion for gaming, esports, lifestyle, fashion, pop culture, or youth entertainment is highly preferred.
- Must be a digital native who actively consumes social media, online content, and cultural trends, with the ability to turn insights into business opportunities.
