Summary
Highly experienced SAP Program Director to lead and deliver a complex multi-country SAP S/4HANA transformation program.
This role requires a hands-on leader who can stabilize the program, align stakeholders, manage vendor partners, and drive successful regional rollouts across multiple systems, including Salesforce, ServiceNow, and middleware integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Stabilization:
- Establish trust and alignment with program stakeholders.
- Stabilize project teams, clarify roles, responsibilities, KPIs, and ensure vendor resources are performing effectively.
- Ensure program planning, deliverables, and timelines for pilot and subsequent wave rollouts are on track.
SAP & Multi-System Integration:
- Oversee SAP S/4HANA Build and rollout, ensuring alignment with ECC migration.
- Manage integration with Salesforce, ServiceNow, and middleware platforms.
- Ensure end-to-end data flows, system interfaces, and functional alignment across regional and global systems.
Governance & Resource Management:
- Implement effective program governance and reporting structures.
- Manage internal, near-shore, and offshore teams efficiently.
- Collaborate with SI partners and tech vendors, to drive delivery excellence.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
- Act as primary liaison with business and IT stakeholders across multiple countries.
- Resolve conflicts, align priorities, and communicate key issues clearly to leadership.
- Monitor program risks and mitigation plans; escalate as needed.
Delivery & Performance Metrics:
- Drive program success against timeline, budget, and quality targets.
- Monitor organizational stability, team performance, and stakeholder confidence.
- Provide structured reporting and insights for meetings and leadership decisions.
Phased Rollout Planning: Anticipate dependencies, risks, and resource needs for multi-country deployment.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field; SAP certification is a plus.
- 10–20+ years of IT/program management experience, with 5–7+ years leading SAP S/4HANA programs.
- Proven experience in multi-country, multi-system ERP transformations including SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and middleware integration.
- Strong track record in program stabilization, stakeholder management, and vendor oversight.
- Experience with matrix teams, near-shore/offshore delivery models, and cross-cultural collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to summarize complex issues for leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to drive program success: on-time, within budget, and high stakeholder confidence.
