Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with enterprise-wide teams to support installation, configuration, and administration of security solutions throughout their lifecycle — including upgrades, enhancements, and new deployments.
- Perform real-time monitoring and analysis of security logs to detect anomalies and escalate potential security incidents.
- Provide operational support for Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS).
- Evaluate and recommend signature updates and changes , ensuring effective threat detection and mitigation.
- Conduct digital forensics investigations while adhering to evidence handling procedures and chain of custody protocols.
- Deliver professional consultation and reporting to clients, including documentation of findings and recommendations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current cybersecurity technologies, tactics, and threat landscapes .
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and client engagement skills .
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an IT security-related discipline.
- Understanding of network architecture, protocols , and system security configurations.
- Strong knowledge of information security principles , including threat detection, mitigation, and response.
- Familiarity with security platforms such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus, and forensic tools.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical content effectively to both technical and business audiences.
