About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Application Consultant with deep expertise in insurance broking software to join our global consulting team. This role will be responsible for delivering end to end implementations, optimisations, and ongoing support for clients across APAC and EMEA .
The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in insurance and reinsurance operations , combined with hands-on consulting and system implementation experience. You will work directly with international clients, acting as a trusted advisor to help streamline business processes and maximise value from technology investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the implementation and configuration of insurance broking software for regional and global clients.
- Analyse client requirements, map insurance workflows , and align them with solution capabilities.
- Provide subject matter expertise in client servicing, policy administration, placements, claims, accounting, and compliance .
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer for client teams.
- Collaborate with technical teams on system integrations, data migrations, and customisation requirements .
- Support clients with issue resolution, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives .
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practices.
- Participate in pre-sales activities by providing solution expertise during scoping and proposal phases.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in application consulting, solution delivery, or business analysis, preferably within the insurance technology sector .
- Strong understanding of insurance and reinsurance operations (placements, client/policy servicing, claims, and accounting).
- Hands on experience with insurance software platforms such as eGlobal, Ebix.Evolution, Applied Epic, or equivalent.
- Proven success in leading large scale implementations across multiple regions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with APAC and EMEA insurance markets and regulations is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel regionally and internationally, as required.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in data migration, integration (APIs, middleware), and reporting tools .
- Exposure to Agile/hybrid project delivery methods.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks within APAC and EMEA.
- Strong change management and process improvement background.
