The Senior Executive will oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and maintaining client satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Drive event sales by actively identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to increase customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial inquiry to contract negotiation and event execution.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets by securing events and contracts.
- Conduct detailed client consultations to understand event objectives, goals, and requirements.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on event logistics, venue options, catering, technology, and other event-related services.
- Develop customized proposals, event concepts, and budgets tailored to each client's needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Oversee the creation of event timelines, vendor management, and post-event follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the sales or event execution process.
- Draft and negotiate event contracts and terms, ensuring clarity of deliverables and mutual agreements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in event sales, business development, or a related role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of the events industry, including venue management and event logistics.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
