The firm is seeking for a highly experienced and senior finance professional for an operating partner role. This role plays a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving strategic growth across the firm’s investments. This professional will work in in an operating group team that identifies/ addresses operational challenges, provides strategic guidance, and focuses on value creation in partnership with the portfolio companies (with the objective of increasing shareholder value). This team also support talent development, culture building and developing operational capabilities.
There is flexibility to structure this role as an employee of the investment firm or as an external senior advisor working on a full time/part time basis.
As the finance Operating Partner focusing on Finance, you will play a critical role to ensure the investment firm’s portfolio Companies have a robust, systematic and forward looking financial and management accounting system, that will allow the business to perform optimally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the firm’s portfolio companies have well-developed FP&A infrastructure that supports the management and board in making decisions and taking corrective action proactively.
- Support portfolio companies to develop a culture and process where business and operational performance issues can be quickly identified and escalated for proactive intervention.
- Work closely with respective operational units (e.g. CFOs/head of finance) to ensure key drivers of success are integrated to the FP&A infrastructure of the portfolio company.
- Inculcate a strong partnership of finance team and the operating units of the portfolio companies
- Interact with various stakeholders e.g. C suite management and board of directors in the portfolio companies

- Leadership: Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex projects (while being hands-on at the same time).
- Collaboration and Partnership: to establish and maintain strong partnerships with portfolio company management teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Communication: to align goals and strategies.
- Problem-Solving: Thrive in ambiguity and complexity; and adept at identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions.
- Cultural Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in diverse cultural environments
- People skills: Excellent EQ skills
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Profile: Senior finance professionals with similar operating partner experience gained with PE/ investment firms.
- Experience: Expected to have min 25+ years of finance exp including FP&A and strategic finance experience with good systems, pricing strategies and commercial finance exposure. Open to cands with diverse industry exposure
- Experience in Strategic Investments: Prior experience working with strategic investments/strategy reviews will be highly desirable, as it demonstrates the ability to appreciate the perspective of a shareholder.
- Others: Ability to roll up one’s sleeves (despite being highly experienced/senior)
