We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on operations professional to lead the continuous automation and optimisation of our manufacturing and logistics processes at BOM BOM.
This role is critical in reducing labour reliance, improving efficiency, and ensuring compliance across our food production operations.

Responsibilities
- Lead automation initiatives across manufacturing lines, integrating hardware and software solutions in collaboration with internal Tech teams
- Optimise and streamline SOPs across production and logistics functions to support scalability and efficiency
- Oversee HACCP and ISO certification processes, ensuring timely audits, documentation, and renewals
- Work closely with QC teams to implement zero-defect systems and preventative controls
- Manage, coach, and support Operations Managers across multiple functional areas
- Develop labour efficiency strategies to cap headcount growth while scaling output
- Drive end-to-end process improvements aligned with growth and sustainability targets
- Ensure proper maintenance of automation and manufacturing hardware; liaise with vendors and troubleshoot technical issues
- Contribute to cross-functional planning, project execution, and operational excellence initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years of experience in food manufacturing or related industries, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or improvement-focused role
- Proven track record in leading automation or continuous improvement programmes
- Strong working knowledge of HACCP and ISO standards, including certification and audit readiness
- Familiarity with production equipment, factory layout, automation systems, and collaboration on software tools (e.g. ERP, MES, production tracking)
- Experienced in SOP creation, updating, and documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to support data analysis and operational reporting
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin (to liaise with regional vendors, partners, and internal teams)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
