Product Strategy and Vision:
- Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with national priorities and public service goals.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities to enhance public sector digital services.
Public Needs and Policy Understanding:
- Gather insights from citizens, businesses, and government agencies to inform product development.
- Understand and incorporate relevant policies, regulations, and national digital strategies into product planning.
Cross-Agency Collaboration:
- Partner with various government agencies and departments to ensure product requirements are well-understood and meet the needs of stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure alignment and effective execution of projects.
Product Development and Implementation:
- Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on public sector goals and citizen needs.
- Oversee the product lifecycle from concept through launch and monitor post-launch enhancements and optimizations.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Set clear metrics and KPIs to evaluate product performance and public impact.
- Ensure transparency and accountability by reporting on product progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
Leadership and Public Service Values:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior product managers and project teams, promoting public service values.
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team oriented towards public service excellence.
Requirements
Experience Required : 8-12 years
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in product management or a related field, with a focus on public sector or government projects preferred.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with government officials and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using product management and analytics tools, and familiarity with government digital platforms
