Job Summary
We are seeking a Presales professional who will be responsible for training and supporting the region’s presales to solve customer issues, build trust relationship, and support sales teams to achieving our business plans. Besides being responsible for conducting product evaluation and training for sales companies in the Large Format category of products, the individual is to develop and utilise our line-up of product and solutions to meet the latest market demands or create new ideas.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct market visits and engage customers; able to understand customers’ requirement and effectively propose solutions by presentation and demonstration of our products and solutions
- Conduct product evaluation and develop new ideas and applications.
- Support installation and conduct education to customer during installation.
- Conduct market research, find out market trends and new technology to adopt into our business.
- Liaise and correspond with HQ for strategic and operational implementations
- Responsible to train, evaluate and maintain all regional engineers’ skillsets, in equipment operations, RIP software, Adobe tools, color management, and spectrophotometry
- Liaise with HQ and vendors and ensure all engineers are updated on new models, software revisions, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Sales Teams to manage customer sales cycle, from requirements to sample preparations
- Support marketing activities such as samples productions and participation in events and trade shows
- Support and provide guidance on pre-installation requirements and processes (equipment, software, layout)
- Assist to address and resolve presales-related issues pre- and post-installation
- Establish network of third party equipment and vendors to support customers’ needs
- Ensure smooth operations and frequent updates of all showrooms, evaluations, sample production and demonstrations.
- Provide support and responsible to maintain evaluations of new substrates and applications
Key Job Requirements
- Knowledge of using RIP software.
- Basic knowledge of adobe software (Illustrator and photoshop)
- Basic knowledge of computer networking
- Colour management knowledge preferred
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills
- Ability to travel for training, troubleshooting and events support
