We are seeking a Senior Sales Director to join our leadership team in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity to drive growth, build strategic relationships, and oversee the sales operations for our Data Centre business in the Asia-Pacific region.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership : Lead the sales function for our Data Centre offerings in Singapore and APAC, driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities, cultivating long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners in sectors such as cloud computing, financial services, and enterprise IT.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company’s overall goals, ensuring consistent growth in the Singapore and broader APAC markets.
  • Team Leadership : Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team. Provide coaching and performance management to ensure the team meets and exceeds targets.
  • Client Engagement : Engage with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers within large enterprises, ensuring that our Data Centre solutions address their business needs.
  • Market Intelligence : Stay updated with market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the Data Centre space, positioning the company as a leader in the industry.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with product development, marketing, and operations teams to tailor solutions and ensure high-quality delivery to clients.
  • Sales Forecasting & Reporting : Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, analyzing market trends and sales performance to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Negotiation & Deal Closure : Lead complex negotiations with large enterprises, ensuring profitable and sustainable contracts are closed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience : Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in senior sales leadership roles within the Data Centre or related technology industries.
  • Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of the Data Centre industry, including infrastructure, cloud services, colocation, and network services.
  • Leadership Skills : Proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams and driving significant revenue growth in a competitive environment.
  • Client-Facing Expertise : Experience in dealing with C-level executives and large enterprise clients, with a consultative and solution-oriented sales approach.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
  • Geographical Expertise : Strong understanding of the Singapore and APAC markets, including key players, regulatory environment, and business practices.
  • Product Knowledge : Has expertise and knowledge on Generator Sets or Power Generation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in cloud technologies, virtualization, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with data centre operations, server infrastructure, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience in large-scale contract management.
