- Achieve sales objectives and goals for all of Hologic’s surgical products through value-based selling when compared to competitors and other treatment modalities
- Identify new business growth opportunities and develop business in the current customer portfolio.
- Identify customer needs, deliver ongoing market analysis, market intelligence and competition assessment and build referral and lead generation networks.
- Build rapport with KOLs in the region, communicate technical products and operations programs to them, to payers, insurers, health-care providers, and others necessary to achieve sales objectives.
- Address customer concerns and escalate calls that require manager involvement.
- Execute joint marketing and educational activities to achieve mind shares of customers and value building with them in partnership with our distributors. Handle multiple projects, work well under pressure, work with others in a team and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
- Create and/or implement custom in field promotional programs for targeted regional customers (KOLs) and decision makers.
- Support the development of in-field training programs for regional centers of excellence and develop a close working relationship with the course director and facility.
- Report customer product inquiries and service requests within 24 hours of receipt.
- Authorize return goods in accordance with approved policy.
- Adhere to all corporate policies, procedures, instructions and directives to achieve objectives and maximize profitability. Ensure that all business activities comply with relevant Acts, legislation, industry Codes of Conduct and ethical standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by your manager from time-to-time
- Provide surgical procedure and technical product training/support to doctors and hospitals staff
- Provide ongoing customer service in accordance with company policy and industry or protocol
Key Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in medical devices industry, preferably with experience in sales/marketing of surgical products, Experience with GYN surgical solutions will be an added advantage
- Demonstrated record of sales performance and ability to provide a high level of customer service
- Demonstrated ability to understand and simplify highly technical or scientific concepts when communicating to others
- Prior experience in customer management or Key Opinion Leaders development
- Proven selling skills and the ability to take on new ideas and work within Industry and the company’s code of conduct.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and listening skills
- Highly organized, excellent time management and customer service skills
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows and Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint, and other popular business software desirable.
