Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the outboard remanufactured program, engines overhaul to factory specifications including Dyno tests
- Investigate engine failures in the field with customers and resolve product issues
- Provide support in installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair to customers, dealers
- Maintain workshop assets and ensure special tools and personal toolbox are well maintained
Secondary responsibilities:
- Provide updated information on product features and service procedure to the dealers/customers
- Adhere and implement service administration program/procedures
- Ensure warranty claims guidelines are met and ensure warranty works are done in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with experience in 2 or 4 Stroke – Diesel marine or automotive engines. Candidates with relevant ITE qualifications will also be considered for this position
- Hands-on knowledge in engine servicing and repair will have advantage
- Diagnostic skills using computers
- Good spoken and written communication skills
- Proficient Microsoft Office Computer skills
- Ability to respond to customer complaints and maintain composure
- Independent, resourceful, and able to coordinate multiple and/or completing work tasks
