Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager in daily site operation.
- Prepare Daily Report and submission.
- Prepare work Inspection Checklist and submission.
- Prepare materials request and arrange for delivery.
- Prepare request for fabrication.
- Receive and verify materials delivered and record GDN and DO.
- Update drawings and drawing register, receipt and issue of drawings.
- Ensure all documented records are properly filed.
- Organize the project site and other places of work so that all operations are carried out to the required standards with the minimum of risk to men, equipment and materials.
- Plan and maintain a tidy construction site.
- Arrange the delivery and stacking of material in such a manner as to avoid increasing the risks involved by double handling.
- Implement arrangements with sub-contractors and other contractors on the project site to avoid any confusion about areas of responsibility.
- Ensure that periodic tests, inspections and maintenance work are being carried out.
- Ensure that all repair and maintenance work carried out on the project site is done in a proper manner.
- Ensure that correct procedures and system of work are being developed and maintained.
- Attend promptly to all notified plant defects or bring to the attention of the relevant Foreman the need for Dangerous plant to be put out of service.
- Manage & Comply with Workplace Safety & Health for project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of site experience in construction field is preferred.
- Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.
