This Site Materials Planning Leader role will be focused on supporting the Repairs Value Stream.The leader will have direct ownership of site materials teams, owning global repair site strategies, and process standards including multi-modals.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.
- Develop expertise for site materials managers or master schedulers to be able to plan production control, production sequence, identify direct and indirect shortage, create visuals for part presentation with kanban. Implement effective pull system, plan-for-every-part, stocking policy .
- Create process standards and read across to repair sites and multi-modal sites (repair COEs)
- Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve processes. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
- Leads others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Interaction with adjacent functions needed to problem solve. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
- Own site warehouses / stores, implement standard work for warehouse personals for daily management. Drive continuous improvement on warehousing solution, materials stocking plan. Own SQDC operations for site warehouses / stores.
- Lead site materials managers to create strategy to execute efficient yard storage for incoming and outgoing boxing & packaging to/fro shipment. Connect with logistics center of excellence to ensure outsourced service outbound/inbound ontime delivery and customs compliance.
- Collaborate closely with sourcing team to assure supplier quality and ontime delivery. Lead and coach Master Schedulers to drive job optimization / pacing.
- Sponsor Lean Kaizens to connect with operations team to improve materials flow. Improve current supermarkets and find opportunities to collaborate with vendors on supermarket management at vendor site.
- May lead strategic projects such as implementation of distribution center (DC) for repairs. Own strategy on DC SQDC operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with equivalent experience).
- This role requires major experience in the Manufacturing & Materials Planning and Execution.
