We’re Hiring: Swim Coach (D&C)

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering swim lessons tailored to various skill levels. You will manage class schedules, collaborate with team members, and actively engage with participants to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and effective learning environment. Your contribution will play a key role in promoting water safety and building confidence among learners.
Key Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Execute plans to develop the swimmers of the Club and also to provide feedback/input on the overall direction of the Club Swim Program and assist in its development
- Develop and execute coaching plans in line with the aims of the Club’s swimming vision and mission.
- Responsible for the planning of daily training sessions, instructing swimmers in swim skills, understanding the SSA competition calendar, being aware of club budgets and establishing effective communication with their squad and staff members.
- Assist in communication with the parents of swimmers in your squad for all matters related to training and administration.
- Work with athletes and their parents on goal setting, understanding long-term development, training week planning etc.
- Supervise athletes at competitions through warm ups/swim down and race feedback.
- Other duties as assigned to support our swimming community
What We’re Looking For:
- 3 years or more competitive coaching and experience coaching age group swimmers preferred.
- National Registry of Coaches (NROC) Level 1 Coach or above.
- A valid First Aid and CPR-AED certification.
- Possess experience in both Learn-to-Swim and Developmental Coaching
- Well versed in the technical aspects of the 4 swimming strokes and also the Individual Medley
- Has experience in a club squad training setup preferred.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Basic computer & admin skills are essential.
- Passion about teaching and engaging young children.
- Responsible, patient and possess good communication skills.
- Positive attitude and Team player.
- Able to work independently and showcase some leadership qualities.
- Be open to work on Saturdays (full day) and Sundays (half day)
- Ability to start immediately is a plus
