Job Description:

Our client is a high-growth fintech company focused on delivering innovative digital financial solutions across Southeast Asia. With a fast-scaling team and ambitious regional expansion plans, they are seeking a strategic and hands-on Talent Acquisition Manager to lead hiring efforts in Malaysia and support broader APAC hiring initiatives. The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for designing and executing the recruitment strategy across business and technical functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across functions including tech, product, operations, compliance, and commercial
  • Partner with department heads to define hiring needs, role requirements, and recruitment strategies
  • Manage job postings, sourcing, screening, and interview coordination
  • Build talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, headhunting, and talent mapping for critical roles
  • Champion employer branding initiatives to attract top-tier fintech talent in Malaysia and the region
  • Collaborate with HR business partners and hiring managers to ensure an exceptional candidate experience
  • Track key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer-to-acceptance rate) and prepare hiring reports
  • Stay up to date with market trends and salary benchmarks within fintech and digital industries
  • Oversee relationships with external recruitment vendors and platforms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • At least 8 years of recruitment experience, with at least 2–3 years in an in-house TA role within fintech, tech, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of the Malaysia talent market and tech/fintech hiring landscape
  • Demonstrated experience filling mid to senior-level roles across both technical and business domains
  • Proactive and resourceful approach to sourcing and stakeholder management
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and recruitment analytics
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Fluent in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia
