RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Control and Instrumentation team, you will be responsible for executing maintenance work on instrumentation and control systems in the power plant effectively, efficiently, and to comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out repair and rectification of equipment failure and malfunction. Test and recommissioning of rectified system or equipment
- Carry out the overhaul, inspection, calibration, servicing program during plant scheduled outage.
- Implement modification, upgrading, and installation plans for plant system and equipment for enhancement, availability, and reliability improvement.
- Maintains detailed work reports, spreadsheets, graphs, plots on computer-based software (Maximo, MS Word, and MS Excel)
- Assist Engineers and Technical Officers in the maintenance work
- Supervise contractors under his charge
- Nitec/Diploma in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Possesses knowledge of Instrumentation
- Preferably possesses 2 years of experience in Power Plant or Oil and Gas industry
- Self-driven, with a good working attitude and a good team player
- Is available on standby after office hours for emergency calls
- Have a safety mindset and display good workplace safety behavior.
- Be a part of the CERT team and be actively involved in emergency responses whenever called upon.
