Role Description
The Media Investment Manager supports the supply-side management & commercial innovation arm of Dentsu across APAC, playing a key role in the delivery of key partner trading deals and the continued growth of Dentsu’s commercial products portfolio. The Media Investment Manager supports the trading & partnerships strategy at dentsu APAC, including leading key internal & external relationships, overseeing trading operations and ensuring a smooth delivery of the strategy across markets.
- Build strong relationships with media partners, with a view to developing trading models, bespoke trading solutions and other means of generating value for dentsu & clients.
- Supports all aspects of trading negotiations, including partner briefing, evaluation, commercial analysis and partnership activation.
- Supports the rollout of key partnership initiatives, particularly relating to the attainment of trading deal deliverables, at both regional and local market level.
- Works hand in hand with markets to facilitate opportunity for key deal partners, including the delivery of deal inclusions & requirements.
- Supports regular business reviews of key partnerships & identifies areas of challenge and opportunity to ensure overall deal delivery & attainment.
- Oversees and ensures the accurate usage of dentsu’s trading and compliance reporting tools and systems.
- Supports the go-to-market, scaling and enablement of dentsu’s principle & proprietary media solutions; specifically market engagement, distributing collateral to markets, developing case studies, facilitating client & internal team education, fielding market-level requests and working hand in hand with markets to solve challenges.
- Manages and develops reporting systems relating to the delivery of dentsu’s principle & proprietary strategy in the region, assisting the business to identify areas of challenge and opportunity.
- Supports the agency on any new global, regional or local initiatives relating to the enablement of dentsu’s principle & proprietary product strategy as well as any global, regional or local partnership initiatives.
- Works hand in hand with the business to deliver financial reporting to illustrate delivery against financial targets.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of agency experience, ideally in a trading and/or investment capacity.
- Background in Media Buying, Integrated Media Planning will be considered
- Excellent knowledge of the APAC media ecosystem, with a focus on the digital media landscape is a plus.
- A solid level of existing media relationships in an operational capacity is ideal.
- Excellent organizational skills, able to effectively coordinate operations in a fast paced, complex agency environment.
- Effective communication skills & an ability to translate reporting & market intelligence into actionable insights & recommendations for the business.
- Open, collaborative and an ability to work across multiple markets.
