Job Responsibilities
- Providing health and safety competent advice, support and co-ordination for the company as required
- Ensure health and safety regulatory compliance for all work site under the company policies through regular site safety walk through with site team leaders/clients.
- Creation and maintenance of operational policies and procedures, supporting the strategy to implement at an operational level.
- Develop awareness of safety policies through regular drivers.
- Continuously build and improve the company's safety culture through campaigns, safety training, awareness programs, structured toolbox agenda, induction programs and other safety related initiatives
- Undertaking accident and incident investigations aligned to authorities’ requirements through identifying root causes and ensures all corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively.
- Providing competent responses to client queries and managing ad hoc support questions, with consideration of legislative requirements, best practice and client health and safety standards.
- Preparing and delivering to stakeholder’s essential WHS information, including data analysis and reports.
- Work collaboratively with the clients’ vendors/contractors to ensure effective and seamless service delivery, including significant engagement with the Facilities Management vendor.
- Compliance with the company Health & Safety policy and procedures, Management System and divisional methods and procedures.
- Operate in line with CSP Maintenance Core Values and Code of Ethics.
- Liaise closely with site operations staff and project manager on all safety and health issues
- Strong communicator in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal
Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 system
- All others ad-hoc duties as and when directed
Requirement
- Candidate with Diploma/Degree in Workplace Safety & Health
- Registered as Singapore’s WSHO valid license with MOM
- 2 years in a full time H&S role with exposure to a broad spectrum of health and safety management systems
- Extensive local H&S Legislation knowledge and experience in practical implementation
- Exposure to a variety of safety and health risks
- Willing to work under minimum supervision
- Well verse in MS Words, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
- ACTA certificate is an advantage
- Short notice preferred
