Requirement:
- Relevant certification in audio, video, or media production field;
- 1 year of working experience with AV equipment;
- 1 year of working experience with broadcasting event; 1 year of working experience in a school-based environment.
Scope of Services
1. Public Address (PA) System
- Oversee the school’s PA system, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Coordinate with external vendors for installation, maintenance, and repair works that require specialist support.
2. Audio-Visual (AV) & Multimedia Support
- Provide technical AV/Multimedia assistance to staff for lessons, CCAs, exams, meetings, and school events/functions.
- Set up and operate AV equipment during school events and examinations as requested by school staff.
- Maintain and update inventory records for AV and PA equipment; conduct routine equipment checks.
- Collaborate with the ICT team (e.g., ICT Manager, Desktop Engineers) to support AV requirements for staff, students, and the Infocomm Club (CCA).
- Advise on AV solutions to support teaching, learning, and school programmes.
- Manage AV systems in classrooms and special rooms; track usage and perform regular maintenance.
- Carry out preventive maintenance (twice yearly) for standard classroom equipment such as projectors and visualizers.
- Troubleshoot AV-related issues and proactively develop improved AV/broadcast solutions.
- Guide and mentor students in the handling and usage of AV equipment.
3. Other Responsibilities
- Assist staff with video content creation using tools like iMovie, Filmora, or Canva for teaching or school projects.
- Provide basic video editing support.
