Our client is seeking an Account Director to lead and manage key client relationships, drive account growth, and oversee the successful delivery of integrated marketing and communication strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Growth & Development
- Drive the growth and success of both new and existing client accounts.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to meet account growth and profitability objectives.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within current client portfolios.
- Manage client expectations proactively and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality work.
- Contribute to new business strategies by preparing proposals and presentations, and actively participating in pitch meetings.
- Build strong relationships and strategic partnerships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance the agency’s presence and influence.
Digital Team Leadership
- Lead, manage, and grow a team of Account Managers and Digital Specialists by overseeing their daily operations.
- Inspire and motivate the team by clearly communicating the agency’s vision and values.
- Resolve operational or interdepartmental issues through collaboration and leadership.
Account Management & Client Servicing
- Take ownership of clients’ campaign strategies across marketing and advertising channels.
- Act as the senior point of contact for clients, maintaining strong day-to-day relationships. Handle multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery under tight deadlines.
Requirements:
- At least 6–8 years of relevant experience in account management, preferably within an agency environment (digital/advertising/marketing).
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, with strong people management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage senior-level client relationships.
- Ability to develop and implement growth strategies for clients and the agency.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities, with experience in managing complex campaigns or accounts.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing, branding, campaign development, and performance metrics.
- Comfortable presenting proposals and strategies to both internal teams and external stakeholders. Capable of working under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
